YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

Since more than 20 years, Danone has been committed to taking action on climate change, with ambitious greenhouse gas emission reduction targets validated by the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). At the end of 2023, Danone published its Climate Transition Plan, detailing the plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to meet the targets by 2030, putting the company on track to achieve its Net-Zero goals by 2050.

This ambition requires significant mobilization of all Danone teams, which is why we are looking for a motivated intern to help us achieve this ambition.

This internship will take place in Paris, at our headquarters starting from 6th January. Dana Huranova, climate change senior manager in the Global sustainability climate team will guide tour through your day to day tasks and help you grow in your role:

  • 60%: Support in monitoring of the Danone carbon roadmap, which includes updating of the key variables (mix, growth, decarbonization programs, etc) that impact the Danone internal carbon forecast in collaboration with internal data owner functions (finance, strategy, operations, R&I, IT& Data). Contribute to improve data quality by supporting carbon intensity calculations for relevant products and leveraging existing Danone tools. Support in modelling and data analysis of carbon-, nature- and other business-related data that help inform carbon decision-making processes.
  • 30%: Carrying out ad hoc research and briefings on specific climate topics, such as evolution of climate standards (SBTi, GHG protocol, etc.).
  • 10% Developing compelling presentations and supporting in internal and external communications on climate.

About you

To achieve great things together, we are looking for someone:

 

    • Available from January 2026 for a duration of 6 months
    • At the level of Bac+5 in university, business school, sciences-po or engineering school. Double cursus science & business/sciences po is a plus.
    • Skills/aptitudes:
      • Data analytics skills are a must: you have already worked with databases to extract useful information and communicate results in an understandable way
      • Capacity to analyze complex information and synthetize in an easy-to-understand way: you have done research work and were able to prepare synthetic presentations.
      • Rigor and critical thinking: you are meticulous and pay attention to detail, double-check sources of information and correctness of the data
      • Autonomy and proactivity: you are ready to anticipate and take your own initiatives
      • Very good communication skills both oral and in writing & teamwork: you communicate efficiently with your colleagues.
    • Genuine interest in climate change and decarbonization with a proven track record of curricular and/or extra-curricular experience in this field.
    • Language: Fluent English is required. French is a big plus!
    • Software: Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
