As our UX Claims Research Intern, you will join the global User eXperience team at the Danone Nutricia Research & Innovation Center in Utrecht. You will support the development of our Claims & Demos capability, helping evaluate, refine, and substantiate product claims that drive consumer trust and trial intent.
You will collaborate with UX researchers, sensory experts, marketing, regulatory, and external agencies to support a new, data‑driven approach to claim validation—directly contributing to future product launches and communication strategies across key global brands like Aptamil, Bebilon, and Almiron.
This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys blending analytical thinking, creativity, and user‑centric design.
Your responsibilities in a nutshell:
1. Claims Evaluation & Documentation
Assist in reviewing and synthesizing claim performance data.
Help prepare presentations, summaries, and insights to support internal decision‑making.
Document findings clearly to support cross‑functional teams.
2. Research Support
Assist in user research including rapid online testing, consumer claim scoring, and user feedback synthesis.
Help identify claim strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to analyses that link claims to consumer liking and trial intent.
3. Strategic Collaboration
Work closely with UX, marketing, regulatory, and insights teams to shape claim strategy.
Participate in defining criteria for meaningful, differentiating, and persuasive claims.
Support the evaluation of potential agency partners and external best practices.
You are a master student with knowledge in sensory, statistics, linguistics and/or food science. You are passionate about health & nutrition. You have a strong interest in user experience design, claims evaluation, or related fields. Basic knowledge of user research methodologies and design principles would be a bonus. You also must be considered a creative mind.
You have strong communication skills, and you are an enthusiast creative but organized person. Comfortable in an international, multidisciplinary environment, you can demonstrate autonomy, proactivity, and curiosity behaviors.
