We are offering an opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the worldwide governance, upskilling, and impact creation of some of Danone’s leading capabilities, in partnership with our dedicated external agency partners.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how one of the world’s most respected organizations sharpens its consumer empathy muscle, and uses foresight and trends to be future-fit. You will be at the forefront of creating a new culture on the back of powerful capabilities, and influencing global decision-making with data, insight and imagination.

 

As head of People Centricity and Foresight, reporting to the Consumer, Capabilities and Foresight Director, you will be the project leader for 3 highly important programs within Danone :

  • CONSUMER 1-1 CONNECTION (a core pillar of our Consumer Love program):
    • Develop and implement Danone-wide training on how to master moderation and strengthen our consumer empathy muscle
    • Define and identify impactful business use cases and inspire/guide teams to share and repeat/scale
    • Organize 1-1 Consumer connection events to drive visibility and adoption
    • Regularly monitor program adoption and identify ways to optimize both program and tool/platform based on user feedback
  • SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE
    • Develop and organize micro/satellite training on relevant business use cases to ensure we maximize the application and value of our Social intelligence platform
    • Set up the platform (in partnership with the agency) to be able to conduct recurring analysis on trends using the Spot-Size-Scale framework, that would provoke and inspire business action
    • Find meaningful connection points between Social intelligence and Foresight
    • Support teams in creating sharp briefs for ad hoc projects to be commissioned to our agency partners, thereby ensuring the right resource and spend are identified
    • Develop and implement a plan to ensure analysis and reports are centralized and consolidated in our knowledge management library
  • FORESIGHT & TRENDS
    • Be the subject matter expert on the macro forces, shifts, and trends, that Danone and our partners have identified – ensuring this expertise is tapped into for major internal and external senior-level fora
    • Expand adoption by illustrating (via proof of concept, use cases) how the tool can be used for long, mid, short-term business applications
    • In partnership with the agency, lead the regular updates and refreshes of data, examples, and manifestations in the platform
    • Support teams in creating sharp briefs for ad hoc projects to be commissioned to our agency partners, thereby ensuring the right resource and spend are identified
    • Develop and implement a plan to ensure analysis and reports are centralized and consolidated in our knowledge management library
  • SUSTAINABILITY
    • Fuel the business (global and local entities) with insights for business growth through sustainability (nature & communities) communication and action
    • Through helping stakeholders (brand & global business) identify their key business challenges and then building & executing learning plan to address those
    • Have the mindset to continuously integrate and triangulate data and insight from multiple sources, bringing the outside-in as well as sharing key learnings internally between teams
    • Be mindful to keep a macro perspective to join the dots on how sustainability could impact different areas of potential brand and business growth (pack, shelf, positioning, claims, comms, concept etc) to have impactful conversations with business & Strategic Insights & Analytics partners

Sobre ti

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.

  • At least 10 years’ experience in a big multinational FMCG's insights or marketing function (foresights, strategic planning, innovation, brand communications, trend analysis, e-commerce, digital, or related areas)
  • Has led the deployment of a multi-country marketing or insights program, and therefore understands what it takes to make the program a must-have and indispensable capability for various stakeholders and users in an organization
  • Knows the fundamentals of, and has first-hand experience in using social listening, search, ratings & reviews, and automated foresight/trends tools for the purpose of generating insights
  • You're a strategic thinker who can connect consumer culture, societal change, and foresight in a way that leads to identification of business opportunities – and can inspire and teach others to do the same
  • Ability to show critical thinking, ask power questions and challenge constructively to bring clarity to the organization on key business challenges 
  • Ability to inspire counterparts in zones/local markets & lead them towards excellence 
  • Able to lead & facilitate cross-functional workshops 
  • Agility to navigate in a matrix organization, to break silos with impact and influence 
  • Drive, can do attitude : ability to challenge the status quo and engage high level stakeholders 
  • Curious by nature, ability to learn
  • Can inspire our chosen external agency partners and platform providers to think Danone first, and to choose Danone for opportunities related to tool enhancements, tech pipeline development, industry events, and the like
  • Fluent in english
