About the Job 

As our new Internal Communication & Engagement intern, you will be part of our local HR team at our Research & Innovation Centre in Utrecht. You will support us in the activation of the Communication & Engagement Plan to create a safe, comfortable and energetic experience for employees. 

Your main tasks will be 

• Creating and designing visual communication for events, projects and global campaigns 

• Supporting the execution of different campaigns, exploring new creative ways to communicate, increase engagement, coordinate and organize events 

• Activating and animating global content for internal matters 

• Collaborating with different stakeholders on our strategic communication 

• Support on internal events organization at the office and with activities around our DEI initiatives, culture, and well-being 

Meet your future manager! Your manager will be Pamela Duarte, Internal Communications & Engagement Manager 

You are a Bachelor/Master student in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Psychology, Business Administration, Public Relations or HR. You have a strong affinity for communication, graphic designing and digital tools, storytelling. You have visual and video editing skills. Great at Power Point, Canva and project management. Being energetic and social comes naturally to you. You are a team player who is not afraid to speak-up and take charge! 

There are also some compulsory requirements: 

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university); 

• Ideally available to start in April/May 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week; 

• You are fluent in English - spoken and written 

• You are able to work from our Utrecht office, at least 2-3 days per week; 

• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer 

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad. 

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
