Planning Project Manager (till end of 2026)

🕒 Contract: Fixed-term until end of 2026

Join Danone as a Planning Project Manager and play a key role in a major transformation project, connected to the closure of one of our factories. You’ll lead the planning stream, ensuring smooth execution, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate master plans, assess risks, and define mitigation strategies for availability and cost challenges.
• Lead execution with schedulers, material planners, call offers, and supply planners.
• Collaborate with C&P, Logistics, Warehouse, and IPRO to ensure seamless execution.
• Drive governance: track milestones, risks, and provide transparent reporting.
• Represent planning in project workstreams and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Create and manage reporting on stock levels, requirement changes, and risk assessments.
• Facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions.
• Act as the main planning point of contact for the project.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced MRP/ERP knowledge (SAP APO, IBP, OMP).
• Experience in supply planning, BOM changes, and master data.
• Background in factory transitions or network redesigns.

• Proven experience leading planning workstreams in transformation projects.
• Familiarity with governance, milestone tracking, and risk management.
• Ideally proven certification in Project Management - PRINCE2 or similar certification preferred.

• Strong stakeholder management across C&P, logistics, and factory teams.
• Experience in matrix organizations and cross-geography collaboration will be an asset.
• Excellent English, both written and verbal.
• Data-driven mindset with Excel/Power BI proficiency.
• Independent, proactive, and resilient under pressure.

The team you will be working with is the Danone Planning Center (DPC), a newly opened, technologically advanced competency center located in Katowice. DPC is responsible for supply chain planning for fresh dairy, plant-based products, specialized nutrition and first diet from Nutricia. Covering all European countries, this innovative hub utilizes cutting-edge technology to optimize and revolutionize planning processes. With its advanced technological solutions, DPC would play a key role in ensuring supply chain efficiency across the continent.
