Associate Manager, Social Strategist

About the job

We are looking to hire a social strategist to join our internal creative team.

  • Promote brand awareness and create social buzz around various initiatives​ to fuel brand fandom.
  • Be a student of culture to stay informed on culture, technology, and social landscape. Conduct social listening and trend spotting with a bias for action to activate against ideas quickly.
  • Proactively identify and bring forth big, breakthrough social media ideas routed in timely cultural insights - both planned and reactive to immerse brands in culture.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional internal and external partners— Legal, Creative, Media, PR and corresponding external agencies—to effectively execute social media communications plans.
  • Plan and execute influencer and social creative productions, including briefing, concept development, reviews and scheduling.
  • Create and manage organic and paid content calendars, ensuring content aligns with brand voice and objectives.
  • Responsible for copywriting social media posts, comments, and ad copy to engage consumers within brand tone of voice. Excels at making a good meme.
  • Oversee brand social communities by monitoring comments, issues management, and proactive engagement opportunities in partnership with customer service team.
  • Deploy paid social campaigns collaboratively with media agency to vet strategy and traffic plans.
  • Analyze performance of social strategy against objectives and KPIs, including content, influencer, paid media and optimize efforts to improve results.

This position is hybrid and can be based in either White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO.

About you

FUNCTIONAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to share creative ideas and work collaboratively to execute 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple workstreams across various brands
  • Finger on the pulse of culture and trends that can be shared with the larger team to identify opportunities 
  • Thorough knowledge of social creative and paid social best practices as well as consumer media consumption.
  • Experience drafting consumer-facing messaging to deploy brand tone-of-voice.

 

INDICITIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Years of Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in social media marketing 
  • Social media marketing and/or agency experience 
  • Experience developing social media content and evaluating performance
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent with strong Social Media knowledge and experience

 

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 commensurate with experience.
