This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Supply Point Finance, Reporting and Business Partnering across an international manufacturing network. You will work closely with finance managers and operational stakeholders, supporting monthly performance reviews, forecasting cycles and finance transformation initiatives.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Support monthly closing activities and financial performance analysis.
  • Prepare Actual vs Forecast and Actual vs Prior Year analyses.
  • Assist in monitoring P&L, productivity, operating expenses and key financial KPIs.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and support action tracking.

  Forecasting & Planning

  • Support Rolling Forecast and Budget preparation.
  • Consolidate financial inputs from multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain planning templates and reporting tools.
  • Help improve forecast accuracy through data analysis.

  Business Insights & Performance Management

  • Build dashboards and financial reports using Excel and Power BI.
  • Support preparation of presentations for management reviews.
  • Analyze trends and provide recommendations based on data.
  • Contribute to business cases and scenario analyses.

  Process Improvement & Digitalization

  • Support automation and simplification initiatives.
  • Improve reporting processes and data quality.
  • Participate in finance projects involving AI, analytics and digital tools.

  Governance & Compliance

  • Support contract and financial commitment reviews.
  • Assist in tracking compliance-related activities and approval processes.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

As a Finance Operations EMEA intern, working with Excel, numbers and large datasets will be second nature to you. Power BI knowledge is a plus. On top of that? You’re curious, proactive and always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

Key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's studying Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
• For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
• Available to start in November/December for 6 to 12 months, 5 days per week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2 days per week.
