Danone MENA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Downstream & Consumer Voice Manager to join our team at Danone MENA in Algiers, Algeria.

 

This pivotal role involves coordinating the maintenance and continuous improvement of food safety management systems across the supply chain. The successful candidate will deploy effective working methods to achieve assigned objectives, monitor performance indicators, manage internal and external audits, and handle traceability systems, non-conformities, and customer complaints.

 

As a leader in quality and food safety processes, you will ensure that our company's standards are applied throughout the supply chain, and that any changes comply with both internal and international standards. Additionally, you will manage consumer feedback, analyze trends, and lead sales and supply chain teams to enhance our customer engagement and satisfaction.

 

Purpose of the Position:

 

- Coordinate the maintaining and continuous improvement of food safety management systems in the supply chain.

- Deploying working methods with a view to achieving assigned objectives by monitoring performance indicators, managing internal and external audits, traceability systems, non-conformities and customer complaints.

- Leading the various processes for dealing with non-conformities and complaints and monitoring action plans.

- Ensures that the company's quality and food safety processes are applied throughout the supply chain, that the processes defined are properly followed, that any changes are made and that they comply with the internal and international standards adopted by the company.

- Managing consumer voice, analysing trends, monitoring treatement and leading sales and supply chain teams

 

Activities Principals:

  1. Field 1: Coordinate and contribute to the company's quality approach and guarantee the implementation and improvement of systems.
  • Implementing and leading procedures relating to the quality and safety of foodstuffs for all supply chain activities.
  • Setting up indicators to check that food quality and safety requirements comply with current standards and defined procedures.
  • Steering new quality and food safety management system projects in the supply chain.
  • To be a driving force behind the continuous improvement of quality and food safety processes.
  1. Field 2: Deploying and standardising work methods
  • Implement work standards in accordance with group procedures.
  • Ensuring that tasks are carried out according to agreed methods.
  • Supporting and training in new working methods.
  1. Field 3: Consumer voice, non-conformity management & corrective action:
  • Managing consumer voice et analysing trends
  • Organizing problem-solving meetings using Quality tools.
  • Analyzing the results and monitoring the handling of non-conformities and customer
  • complaints and monitoring the implementation of corrective actions at the level of the unit concerned.
  • Analyze malfunctions and suggest improvements
  1. Field 4: Carrying out inspections of transport and storage warehouses (Danone & distributors)
  • Audit and draw up plans to bring warehouses up to standard.
  • Produce and communicate summaries of QFS indicators, highlighting variations and actions to be taken.
  • Analyzing data relating to audit results and proposing solutions in the event of discrepancies, in collaboration with the supply chain and sales.
  • Ensuring that the product traceability system is applied and updated.
  • Drawing up dashboards for the various systems
  1. Field 5: Other activities
    • Accompanying external contacts on visits.
    •  Actively participate in improving transport and storage processes.
    • Raising staff awareness of new procedures, instructions, control measures, etc..

About you

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Experience And Education:

Educational level: Engineer or Master with Bac+5

Specialties: Pharmaceutical or food industry.

Training and knowledge Complementary (s) (Nice to have): Quality & Food safety management, Food Defence & Food Fraud knowledges, QFS in supply chain, Problem solving.

Experience:  Minimum 2 years experience

Skills and Qualities:

  • Good interpersonal skillsability to work as part of a team and take decisions, self-reliance, analytical, organizational, and synthetic skills.
  • Ability to make suggestions & lead subjects.
  • Generous listener and good communicator
  • Dynamic & motivated

Languages:

Need to be proficient in English, French, and Arabic.
