The Healthcare Nutrition Manager (Strategy) position is established to drive and achieve brand objectives. The Strategy Manager will develop brand plans to achieve the company's vision, desired sales, market share, brand result objectives and the brand image target as well as new product and new market segment development. And gaining brand of first choice for our portfolio.

To drive relevance of Company’s business agenda (category relevance) in Early Life Nutrition. He/she shall get direct support from immediate superiors, other brand managers and will be working closely with Scientific Affairs and HCN Solutions team.

Responsibilities:

Brand Portfolio Strategy

• Development of brand plans; lead initiatives that support the broader short and long-term Healthcare Nutrition (HCN) Strategy
• Champion analytical understanding of the business insights (Consumer / Competition / HCP)
• Accountability for pricing, marketing budget, volume forecasting, financial mix and P&L management
• Manages external agencies with all aspect of brands development need
• Responsible for specific part of A&P budget - manage investments for the assigned brand portfolio
• Tracking effectiveness of all HCP activity

Communication Materials

• Develops relevant unique & differentiated communication strategies and messaging to and through HCPs that deliver brand growth in the HN channel
• Connects with HCPs and their professional organizations to jointly create tools and events to drive category relevance

Integrated Planning

• Develop integrated plans across all relevant HCP touch points to support GUM/Maternal and other company initiatives where HN channels are key touch points
• Collaborate with medical societies/ internal science teams to build and execute a strong 360 HCP plan 

Innovation

• Lead and support innovation projects as required

Projects

• Participates in cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products following the process, including analysing information to help set the sales forecast and financials

Forecast & Operations 

• Work closely with Solutions, Supply Chain, Finance team to ensure smooth operations relating to inventory/ supply to HCP channels 

Compliance

• Drive execution with guidance of internal and external compliance do’s and don’ts
• Ensure documentation and processes as per requirement 

Education and Experience

• Possesses a recognized degree, preferably in Science, Nutrition or Marketing
• Have at least 5- 8 years of marketing/brand management experience in HCP Marketing related fields or specifically in Early Life Nutrition marketing
• Ethical Sales experience is an added advantage
• Cross functional stakeholder management and communication ability
• Good analytical ability with problem solving initiatives
• Attention to details of tracking execution
• Leadership and interpersonal skills
• Commercial mindset
• Excellent execution capability - Planning and organizing, co-ordination, delegation, control, integrity, decisiveness

Specialist Knowledge

• Understanding of how both private and government healthcare channel works and differences of HCP behaviour in each channel
• Background in infant nutrition sciences/ managing KOL in medical societies is an added advantage but not mandatory
