About the job

As a Clinical Study Researcher (CSR) within the Early Life Clinical Evidence team, you play a central scientific role in generating high‑quality clinical evidence that underpins our innovations, claims, and scientific leadership in Early Life Nutrition. You will design, guide, and interpret clinical studies across a range of methodologies — from interventional trials to health data projects — ensuring scientific rigor and compliance at every step.

You are passionate about translating rigorous science into impactful, real‑world evidence that supports infants, toddlers, and parents globally.

In this role, you will:

Lead Clinical Study Methodology

  • Translate business questions into strong scientific hypotheses and fit‑for‑purpose study designs.
  • Develop study rationales, synopses, protocols, and contribute to Statistical Analysis Plans.
  • Conduct expert literature reviews and ensure all scientific arguments are grounded in robust evidence.
  • Provide early‑stage methodological guidance and feasibility assessments.

Ensure Excellence During Study Execution

  • Act as the methodological expert for Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical/Safety experts, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Support blinded data reviews, protocol deviation assessment, dataset definition, and data validation processes.
  • Safeguard compliance with ICH‑GCP, Danone’s Clinical Study Policy, and internal SOPs.

Drive Data Interpretation & Reporting

  • Collaborate with statisticians to analyze and interpret study data.
  • Lead or contribute to Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), internal evidence summaries, and scientific communication materials.
  • Support publications, abstracts, and conference presentations.

Collaborate Cross‑Functionally

  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, LS&I, Regulatory, Product Development, Market Access, and Digital Health.
  • Represent your studies in governance forums and provide clear, meaningful insights to senior stakeholders.

Build Clinical Evidence Capability

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical evidence standards.
  • Support the development and refinement of methodology SOPs, templates, decision frameworks, and quality systems.

About you

Education & Experience

  • MSc or PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Nutrition, Epidemiology, Clinical Research, or a related life‑science field.
  • Experience in clinical study methodology across design → execution → analysis → reporting phases.
  • Understanding of Early Life Nutrition or pediatric research is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with ICH‑GCP and clinical governance processes.
  • Strong scientific writing and analytical skills.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent critical thinking and scientific reasoning.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear actions and study plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with a drive to continuously improve evidence generation.
