About the job

Our Finance team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone continues to grow. By joining our Finance team, you will anticipate and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and find the right way forward. We are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager - Happy Family BU Finance. This role can be based out of White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO!

 

In this role your primary responsibilities will include leading our planning processes (including actual reviews and forecast updates for our annual, quarterly and monthly processes), provide analytical support on financial performance and partner with cross-functional teams (marketing/sales/operations/accounting) to hit our short- and long-term business objectives.  Your high-quality commentary will help communicate performance drivers and root causes of variance.  More specifically…

 

  • You will analyze actuals performance and advise team on forward-looking adjustments
  • You will own the GPS forecasts, working closely with our cross-functional partners to develop and communicate those forecasts (e.g. working with Demand Planning to align our volume forecast, with RGM and Category Commercial to align our trade forecast and Supply Chain to align our COGs forecast)
  • You will manage all cross-functional alignment and required reporting/management deliverables for the month-, quarter- and year-end closes
  • You will business partner to ensure the BU hits our financial goals (e.g. deliver price increases, trade budgets and overall CO goals)
  • You will grow yourself and participate in the improvement of financial processes and ways of working of the Business Unit
  • You will support the team in ad-hoc analyses and support decision making process within the Happy Family BU

 

The base compensation range for this position is $120k-148k commensurate with experience. About you

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • You have a minimum of 6-8 years working in finance or accounting, previous exposure to operations/manufacturing finance preferred.
  • You have experience with standard cost accounting and variance analysis.
  • You think systematically, have expert analytical skills and can deal with big data sets.
  •  You have expert Excel skills, with the proven ability to produce high-end work products suitable for analysis, with the ability to manage ad hoc requests.
  • You can manage high complexity, numerous projects and can set proper priorities.
  • You can work well on a team
  • You can work well cross-functionally, helping to explain financial concepts to non-finance professionals
