As a Global Specialty Packaging Sourcing Intern, you will be part of the Direct Materials Team, a function of the Cycles & Procurement (C&P) Organization. You will serve Danone’s Top and Bottom line across Specialized Nutrition business, through direct interaction with cross-functional team responsible for the sourcing of Specialized Packaging Materials. You will be working closely with our Buyers of Plastic Specialties, Medical Devices, Glass and Beverage Carton at our office in Hoofddorp, NL. Cycles & Procurement is right at the heart of making the Danone vision "One Planet. One Health" a reality. Through what and how we source, we shape the world in which we operate, and we build the future of Danone.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Actively support contract negotiation and ensure volume allocations of purchasing volumes are in accordance with existing commitments.
  • Support spends analytics through transforming data into recommendations.​
  • Track and report history and future trends for each market. Work with Key Market intelligence stakeholders (internal & external) to stay up to date of current trends and bring team awareness.​
  • Support Contract renewals, Pricelist updates, Price reconciliation and Cost breakdown exercises.
  • Help business in achieving cost savings through leading productivity and sustainability projects.

About you

  • You are a student currently pursuing a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or a related field.
  • You are proficient in using the Microsoft Suite Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical skills
  • Team player attitude, agile, pro-active, and adaptive mindset.​
  • Fast learner and effective communication skills.​
  • Eager for development, growth and gaining experience.

 

As a Global Specialty Packaging Sourcing intern, supporting supplier management process will be second nature to you. You can manage data effectively and have excellent analytical skills. On top of that? You’re a sharp business thinker who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • Ideally available to start in August/September 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - spoken and written;

You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 2-3 days
