About the Job

As a Global S&OP Demand intern, you will have a key role in bringing visibility on consolidated demand signals from different markets, as well as risks and opportunities in the context of our Specialized Nutrition business. Together with your team, you will consolidate, animate, understand and challenge the demand signals from all markets. You will also get the opportunity to be involved in improvement projects to improve master data accuracy, forecast accuracy and forecast bias, as well as global processes.

Within this internship you will mainly be learning about / working on:

• Build a global overview of demand from different markets (including; Europe countries, China, America as well as the rest of the world)
• Challenge regional teams on their data submissions.
• Support and animate monthly discussions with regional teams
• Develop strong links between the central team you are in and the regional demand planning teams, as well as with Finance and Sales teams (central and local) in order to have and give a complete vision of volumes impact in the Value Chain

As a Sales and Operations Performance intern, you will have strong data management skills and an analytical mindset. You are able to utilize power BI and relevant tools to provide efficient and accurate reporting. You have an engineering or business background, with an eye for detail and logical mindset that supports you in gathering useful insights that can be transformed into solutions. You are a fast learner, team player, have positive energy and ability to prioritize to always meet deadlines. You are not afraid to challenge situations and bring your own ideas forward in order to act proactively in a fast-paced environment. On top of that? strong communication skills enable you to have clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Master student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Ideally available to start the 1st of March 2025 for a minimum of 6-7 months, 40 hours & 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - oral and written;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, 2 times per week;
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
