About the job

Join us at Danone, where your work touches lives and contributes to a healthier world. As a global leader with a unique health-focused portfolio in food and beverages, we are driven by a mission to bring health through food to as many as possible. Embedded in our culture is a profound sense of purpose and a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community. At Danone, we believe in the power of our people, and we are dedicated to creating an environment where our core values of humanism, openness, enthusiasm, and proximity lead the way to achieve our goals.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant movement of materials across our site.

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating inbound goods, storage, dispatch, and inventory accuracy, while ensuring all warehouse activities meet food safety, quality, and compliance standards.

You’ll work closely with Planning, Production, and Quality teams to ensure materials are available right first time to support production and customer service.

This is a hands‑on, operational role with a strong focus on coordination, systems accuracy, and problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging, and consumables
  • Complete SAP/WMS transactions including goods receipt, goods issue, staging, and batch management
  • Maintain accurate documentation including delivery dockets, CoAs, and batch traceability
  • Support daily warehouse workflows and priorities in partnership with the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Liaise with Planning and Production to ensure materials are delivered on time and in full (OTIF)
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen, and audit requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe use of MHE and warehouse equipment
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, damages, or non‑conformances

About you

To be successful you will;

  • Bring proven expertise in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, thriving in dynamic, hands-on environments where every action drives operational excellence.

  • Be confident using SAP or a warehouse management system to keep stock movements and documentation accurate.

  • Hold a current forklift licence (OSH + F endorsement) and are comfortable working safely with MHE.

  • Worked in a food manufacturing or GMP environment, where safety, quality, and compliance are essential.

  • Understand inventory control and stock accuracy processes and take pride in getting the details right.

  • Hold NCEA Level 2 or equivalent.

  • Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

  • Communicate clearly and confidently and work well with a wide range of people across the site.

  • Proactive, reliable, and accountable, taking ownership of your work from start to finish.

  • Have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in everything you do.

  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset, with exposure to LEAN or 5S practices an advantage.
