YOUR responsibilities as a Brand Manager will include (but not limited to):

  • Lead the consumer strategy and marketing plans for the Core Milks portfolio within Danone Specialized Nutrition, ensuring alignment with global and regional brand strategies.
  • Develop and execute Consumer Marketing strategies that drive sustainable brand growth, market share, and business performance.
  • Provide structured competitive insights and identify key business drivers to support informed decision-making.
  • Define and manage the consumer communication strategy, leveraging trends/innovations, and translating product knowledge into credible, differentiated, and compliant communication for parents.
  • Manage and continuously optimize the product portfolio based on financial KPIs, market performance, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new product opportunities that address unmet consumer needs and contribute to long-term brand growth.
  • Own P&L analysis, pricing strategies, and financial performance tracking for the portfolio.
  • Develop and adapt packaging concepts in line with local market needs, global guidelines, regulatory requirements, and brand positioning.
  • Conduct and leverage market research, including global, regional, and local trackers, to extract insights and translate them into actionable marketing plans.
  • Lead projects independently from concept to execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, agencies, global stakeholders, and medical KOLs.

About you

We are looking for a Brand Manager with the following profile:

  • University degree in Marketing & Communication, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management or marketing roles, ideally within Health Care, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and communication strategy, with the ability to translate insights into effective brand plans.
  • Digitally-savvy, able to drive the digital strategy of the brand; previous experience with building and running digital campaigns
  • Solid analytical skills with experience in business performance tracking, P&L management, and prioritization.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and drive initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Medical background or education is considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in Romanian & English, both spoken and written.
