YOUR responsibilities as a Key Account Manager will include (but not limited to):

  • Establish and nurture long-term strategic partnerships with Modern Trade customers at the national level
  • Understand customer strategies, needs, and opportunities to create strong links between Danone and customer goals
  • Conduct regular business meetings and negotiations to foster trust and long-term collaboration
  • Develop and execute yearly retailer strategy and action plans to reach sales targets
  • Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and contractual agreements in line with company objectives
  • Plan and execute yearly promotional plans in alignment with PRGM inputs
  • Analyze sell-out data and market insights to identify business opportunities and risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction

About you

We are looking for a Key Account Manager with the following profile:

  • University (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree in Business or Economics
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the FMCG industry (must-have)
  • Experience with fresh product categories is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record in independently managing annual negotiations with retail partners
  • Strong analytical mindset, enjoys working with data and identifying actionable insights
  • Confident Excel user with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and result-driven personality with a strategic mindset
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English (spoken and written)
  • Valid Category B driving license
