Join Our Team as a Line Shift Lead!

Are you ready to take the next step in your manufacturing career? We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Line Shift Lead to lead a high-performing production team in Auckland’s fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a stable 2-2-3 shift pattern, either Night Shift or Day Shift to fit your lifestyle. You’ll lead 12.25-hour shifts from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM (or vice versa), working at least 42.88 hours per week.

As a Line Shift Lead, you’ll play a key role in daily operations and champion Integrated Work System (IWS) initiatives. Reporting directly to the Line Lead, you’ll get hands-on experience and the chance to make a real impact.

  • Technical Skills We Value:
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization
  • Understanding of IWS or Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles
  • Familiarity with safety and quality control systems
  • Ability to coach and develop team members in technical processes

You Will:

  • Collaborate effectively with technicians and equipment owners to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Lead and coordinate the shift team, ensuring smooth shift handovers and clear communication.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of production during your shift to achieve operational targets.
  • Cultivate a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth among members.
  • Guide and coordinate the team to deliver high-quality, efficient production outcomes.
  • Uphold and advance the mission: “To bring health through nutrition to as many as possible.”

About you

To be successful, you will also have:

  • Proven commitment to safety, including implementing and supporting safety programs.
  • Experience in ensuring quality standards and managing incident reporting.
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and loss elimination.
  • Ability to maintain equipment-based conditions and enforce 5S standards.
  • Effective collaboration across functions and coordination of team activities.
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably dairy or food.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferable technical background including electrical and mechanical in manufacturing.
