Logistics Coordinator Intern

About the job

Join Danone’s Supply Chain Excellence team and contribute to building standardized logistics processes across zones. This internship offers hands-on experience in warehousing and 3PL management, KPI development, and performance analysis, while gaining exposure to Danone’s global supply chain strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Coordination:
    • Coordinate content creation with logistics experts across zones.
    • Animate expert community for knowledge and best-practice sharing.
  • Warehousing:
    • Document Danone’s warehouse network.
    • Develop performance animation content (KPIs, improvement levers).
    • Maintain and update WH Gemba walk assessments using Excel and Microsoft Forms.
  • 3PL Management:
    • Participate in WH Gemba walks.
    • Build a dashboard for 11 mandatory KPIs for 3PL management.
    • Analyze KPI performance and co-build action plans with best-practice sharing across CBUs.
    • Co-lead quarterly sessions connecting Regions, CBUs, and 3PLs to drive improvement.

About you

You are a Bachelor/Masters student in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management, or another related field. You are open and find it easy to communicate with multiple stakeholders. You are not afraid to ask questions or bring suggestions and ideas to the table. You are a self-starter. You have excellent analytical skills and enjoy deriving findings from data. You have strong planning and organizational skills, collaborative mindset and customer-centric approach.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in February or March for a minimum of 12 months, 4-5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); 
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint;
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2-3 days per week.
