The Product Developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, launching and post-launch of the projects under his/her responsibility (renovation, innovation and / or cost / quality of projects), ensuring excellence in execution. This position involves the implementation of pilot tests, quantitative analysis and monitoring as well as the coordination of industrial production tests in order to manage and support project launches.

Key responsibilities

• Define the development plan for new products according to the objectives, costs and deadlines set in the project brief;
• Collaborate closely with Marketing to generate innovation within its category;
• Collaborate with global R&I and cross functional project team
• Develop formulas and processes taking into account the requirements of other functions, such as Regulatory Affairs, Quality, production, etc.
• Design and follow pilot tests, organize tasting sessions with Marketing and draw conclusions and recommendations for the next steps;
• Industrialize new products with collaboration of engineering and production departments, develop process flow diagrams, processing procedures and product specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in food product development.
• Experience in plant-based products and Coffee creamers is an important asset.
• Excellent skills in food formulation
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Bilingualism required French and English (written and spoken).
• Flexibility to travel (10%)

Are you eligible for a V.I.E?

V.I.E is a Business France device allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.

You must be aged between 18 to 28.
