We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Balclutha. This position offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to manage their own territory, be a part of the manufacturing Team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be a strategic leader, optimizing storage, ensuring precise inventory management, and coordinating the seamless movement of raw materials and finished goods across our complex supply chain, driving operational excellence in a high-performance environment.

 

  • Warehouse Compliance and Safety: Manage the compliance and safety requirements relating to the site and transport movements of goods to and from the site.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the flow of raw materials to and from the factory and manage the flow of finished goods to external warehouses.
  • Delivery Process Improvement: Refine the Just In Time delivery of raw materials and packaging to production stores.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy for raw materials and finished goods while maximizing customer service levels.
  • Reporting: Develop accurate and timely supply chain reporting for the NZ business.

About you

To be successful you will have;

  • A supply chain diploma or degree preferred, with flexibility for exceptional candidates demonstrating proven logistics management expertise and a track record of transformative operational leadership.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Warehouse Management within an FMCG or pharmaceutical business, with proven ability to effectively lead diverse teams and large-scale operations.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in paperless WMS and ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Ability to support and empower team members to achieve collaborative and efficient outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure clear and timely information flow among contractors, staff, and internal customers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
