Danone's Evian Volvic Alpro International Business Unit is looking for its next Export Customer Service Manager. This position is based in Evian-Les-Bains (74) for a temporary mission (12 months).

 

The Customer Service manager is responsible for driving operational performance within their functional area (Back Office Operationst). They act as the leader for their team, ensuring daily execution excellence, process alignment, and smooth coordination with crossfunctional stakeholders. They provide daytoday guidance, prioritization, and expertise to their team and ensure strong service delivery towards internal and external customers.

 

One of the key challenges is to structure and improve ways of working to make it more efficient. Transversal leadership will be a key asset to perform.

 

You report to the EVAI Supply Chain and Customer Solution Senior Manager based in Evian-Les-Bains.

 

  1. Customer Service
    • Coordinate and prioritize daily activities within the functional team to meet service, quality, and efficiency targets.
    • Act as the operational subject‑matter expert for the scope (customer collaboration, back‑office operations, or seafreight booking).
    • Ensure adherence to processes, data quality standards, escalation routines, and service level agreements.
    • Support issue resolution and serve as the primary escalation point for operational topics within the scope.
    • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) and propose corrective actions when necessary.
    • Collaborate with other teams (Customer Collaboration, Planning, Logistics, Finance, IT) to ensure end‑to‑end operational flow.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and process harmonization.
    • Provide functional coaching and on‑the‑job support to team members.
    • Prepare and consolidate reporting to management on operational performance, risks, and opportunities.
    • Support transformation projects and new ways‑of‑working deployment within the team.

About you

  • You have a Degree in Business Administration, in Engineering, or in a Supply-related field.
  • You would typically have around 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Customer Service and/or Demand Planning, within a strong multinational FMCG company and/or export business company.
  • You are a strong user of Microsoft Excel, SAP/APO knowledge is a plus.
  • You are able to prioritize, and you possess strong Communication and Coordination Skills.
  • You are rigorous.
  • You are able to interact with multi-cultural stakeholders.
  • You are known to be open-minded, pro-active and results oriented.
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • You are highly autonomous & flexible
  • You speak English & French fluently.
