As Head of Operations Finance in the Danone Japan Headquarter you will lead all operations related financial activities including forecasting, monitoring and reporting of the operational results. With meaningful insights and understanding of risk & opportunities you will be involved in recommendations and business decisions to increase efficiency, improve productivity and drive value.

With a strategic mindset you will also actively support long-term projects related to the manufacturing footprint of the company. With an open and continuous improvement mindset you will drive the transparency and accuracy of data through monthly KPI tracking and new dashboards. You will also take the lead on financial control processes and systems to comply with global Danone policies and requirements.

In your role you will close work together and partner with key stakeholders in the factory as well as leaders in the Operations and Procurement departments. In addition, you will foster strong collaboration with the regional Finance department based in China.

<Main Responsibles>
• Forecasting, monitoring and reporting of the operational performance,
• Value creation mindset: lead business cases to improve productivity, increase efficiency and drive profitable growth,
• Close Business partnering with Operations, Plant Leadership Team and Procurement,
• Lead cross functional decision making forums ensuring well informed judgement,
• Manufacturing footprint: Active Finance lead role in capacity extension projects including the large-scale factory extension.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on material, industrial and logistic cost controlling, provide accurate variance analysis and forecasts, understand risks & opportunities,
• Drive teams to improve key Operations KPIs
• Close monitoring of investment decisions (CAPEX) and assets,
•
• Deliver all key Operations finance reporting deadlines in line with company planning.
• Continuous improvement: Drive digitalization, standardization and harmonization of reports, dashboards and KPI tracking to increase transparency and accuracy,
• Be agile to ad-hoc requests from other finance team members/regional or central controllers and other departments.
• Lead financial governance across operations ensuring compliance with Danone internal policies and Danone Accounting Manual
