About the job

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations Projects (Level 7) based in Wexford Supply Point.  This is a senior, high‑impact role responsible for leading complex, cross‑functional product related projects from Develop to Launch, ensuring delivery on time, in full and within budget.

Reporting hierarchically to the SNU EU Operations Projects Director, with a dotted line to the Supply Point Director, the role is critical in driving operational excellence, project governance and strategic alignment at site and central level.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead cross‑functional project teams locally and centrally to deliver projects OTIF / FTR
  • Build and manage end‑to‑end execution timelines, milestones and risk mitigation plans
  • Drive project governance through best‑in‑class project management practices, processes and tools
  • Accountable for COGS management from Develop to Launch
  • Lead operational feasibility assessments (MOQ/WO) in collaboration with Activity Management
  • Own internal project risk assessments with inputs from QA, PCM, AM and all relevant functions
  • Manage portfolio prioritisation and resource planning across Supply Point functions
  • Embed one‑touch principles, leveraging synergies across technical and innovation portfolios
  • Ensure SQCDME KPIs are captured, reviewed and reflected in technical gate readiness
  • Represent Operations Projects at Quarterly Factory Reviews

Plant Leadership Team (PLT) Responsibilities

 

  • Co‑build and review site strategic and competitiveness roadmap
  • Champion the factory vision, mission and Supply Point CBN agenda
  • Support Continuous Improvement (IWS) and digital acceleration initiatives
  • Act as a key interface between Supply Point leadership and central functions

Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Technologists, Product Sourcing, Procurement, Product Development, Spec Management, and the Supply Point Director.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
  • PMI accreditation (or commitment to complete within the 2 years)
  • Proven experience in Project Management and/or Project Portfolio Management
  • Strong background in manufacturing, operations or supply point environments preferred
