Step into an exciting opportunity as a Receptionist/HR Administrator at Danone, where you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture. This is your chance to become the welcoming face of our Auckland office, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression

As the first point of contact, you’ll provide outstanding service to staff and visitors by greeting guests, managing calls, addressing site and security queries, and overseeing mail and consumable deliveries. You’ll also support the HR team with administrative tasks, coordinate internal communications and recruitment, assist with employee benefits, and ensure all documentation is current.

You will:

  • Handle purchase orders for reception needs and consumables
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
  • Lead the recruitment process for open vacancies
  • Lead and manage the onboarding of new staff twice a month
  • Manage swipe card access for employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Assist with recruitment tasks such as phone screening, interview scheduling, and background checks
  • Oversee office and kitchen supplies, ensuring stock is maintained
  • Support the HR team with inbox and internal communications
  • Assemble onboarding and parental leave kits and policy materials
  • Administer employee benefits, including awards, health initiatives, and insurance sign-ups
  • Organise company events

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive, and confident professional who brings energy and enthusiasm to everything they do. If you pride yourself on being process-oriented and have a background in administration or reception, you could be the perfect fit for our team!

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience as a HR Administrator or in a similar administrative position
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to engage with people at all levels
  • Strong proficiency in office software, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
