Danone Türkiye is looking for a talented colleague for the position of “Senior Warehousing Operations Manager, Specialized Nutrition.” Take this opportunity to GROW together!
In this role you will;
- Work closely with Transportation, Customer Service, Procurement, Production, Quality, IT, Factory, and Finance teams to build flawless operations.
- Be responsible for Safety Management, Budget Management, Project Management, KPI performance tracking, and operational processes.
- Develop and implement a consistent logistics strategy (inbound & outbound, warehousing, customs operations, value-added services, KPI management) aligned with current business standards, ensuring excellent and cost-effective service.
- Proactively manage and optimize all third-party and in-house warehouses to meet business needs, including locations in Istanbul (Tuzla, Gebze, and overflow warehouses when required).
- Create and execute cost-saving projects across end-to-end logistics.
- Ensure high service levels in warehousing for Specialized Nutrition operations in Turkey.
- Optimize people, resources, and technology to meet or exceed business standards.
- Manage warehouse expenses and continuously seek opportunities for cost competitiveness.
- Oversee inventory management and reconcile any variances between physical and system records, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Manage the warehousing budget on a monthly basis.
- Ensure Danone’s safety and quality standards are applied across all warehousing operations.
- Control the total warehousing budget and contribute to D2D controllable cost targets.
- Manage pallet pooling operations efficiently.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure zero customer complaints related to warehousing.
- Handle return operations and resolve disputes with customers effectively.
About you
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics)
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations management
Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse management, and people management
Experience or knowledge of 3PM (Third-Party Manufacturing) is a plus
Strong ability to manage manpower effectively
Skilled in handling multiple stakeholders simultaneously
Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office is required
- Having a driving license and ability to travel
