Hi, I’m Sandra

I’m IT Onsite Manager for Belgium

I manage a great team of onsite IT engineers. They have a wide range of skills and experience and I’m here to support them and help them grow, while we deal with any IT issues that come our way.

My journey so far

Small changes can make a big impact

I’m quite new to life at Danone. I joined because believe in Danone’s mission of One Planet. One Health, those values are important to me, and I was a fan of the brand and the products. I’m proud to be part of this brand now, all my friends and family have been sending me photos of themselves using Danone products! I’m part of a busy team, we’ve got a lot going on, but I’ve already been able to make some small changes in the way we communicate and operate that are starting to see an impact.

A real sense of belonging.
A real sense of belonging.

Building personal connections

Danone is very people-centric. There’s a focus on wellbeing, and on building personal connections. I felt a real sense of belonging straight away; people took time to meet me and to get to know me.

Make things happen

I can see there are a lot of growth opportunities at Danone, and I’m interested in exploring different parts of the business. I’m curious about sales and marketing, for example, so that may be something to try. In previous places I’ve worked it wasn’t easy to switch roles and departments, but here, if you take the initiative, you can make it happen.

There’s great support from my managers.

Putting plans into action

It’s straightforward to get the support of my managers to try new things at a local level, and we all grow by trying to change things and improve. I’m looking forward to discussing my career development plan with my managers and to putting it into action.

Sandra is looking for energetic and entrepreneurial people to join Danone. Sounds like you.
