Key Responsibilities
The focus of the internship can be chosen based on interest and abilities, without being
limited to only one topic.
1) Factory Digitalisation
- Map out current and ongoing factory digitalisation situation
- Identify, propose and justify the implementation of new digital tools or processes to
improve current ways of working
2) Data Reporting
- Improve existing Power BI dashboards to help various operational teams to gain insights
about their data they generate
- Automate daily, weekly and monthly reports
3) Performance Refinement
- Deepen the level of analysis of the production lines’ performance to discover areas of
further improvement
- Manage feedback from top (management) and bottom (factory floor)
Basic Requirements
1) Basic mathematical skills
2) Basic logical thinking skills
3) Basic analytical skills
4) Fluent in Japanese and conversational level in English or vice versa (written and spoken)
Preferred Requirements
1) Passionate and curious about FMCG; particularly the food and beverage industry
2) Loves challenges and problem solving
3) Thinks out of the box and is open to new ways of working
4) Likes working with digital tools, particularly analytical ones
5) Able to work in a fast paced, diverse and international environment
Location
Tatebayashi Factory, Tatebayashi City, Gunma
Work hours
Flexible depending on student's availabilities
(eg. 3 to 5 days a week, between 8:45 – 17:30 (hours and days flexible)
Compensation
JPY1,300~ JPY1500 per hour (max) + commuting fees
