As our new Senior Logistics Manager for Nordics & Baltics, you main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Manage and enhance the logistics and warehousing setup across the Nordics & Baltics
  • Create accurate forecasts, track actuals, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost logistics efficiency
  • Oversee, review, and negotiate logistics contracts in coordination with Legal and Quality teams 
  • Deliver 100% fossil-free transport in Sweden by 2025 and ensure renewable electricity in warehouses

  • Build and present business cases supporting sustainable logistics, including electrification

  • Collaborate with Internal Control and Quality teams to align logistics processes with Danone standards

  • Define long-term vision and annual objectives for the logistics team

  • Act as the key logistics representative for NORBAL in Danone EU logistics forums

About you

To be successful in this position we believe that you bring:  

 

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of logistics management experience, ideally in FMCG industry, and at least 5 years of team management experience. Experience from international & complex organisations is highly meritorious. 

  • Educational Background: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in analysing and improving logistics costs and processes. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is essential. Experience with Power BI and/or SAP is meritorious. 

  • Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership skills combined with excellent organizational, project management, and strong communication skills in English. As a leader, you welcome and value diverse talents and collaboration to foster collective performance and co-create value. 

  • Personal Passion: A strong commitment to sustainability and making a positive environmental impact, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects independently. You take ownership and are fully accountable to deliver sustainable business solutions. 

  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work within cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels, with creative problem-solving skills & ability to demonstrate courage with empathy even in difficult and pressured environments.
