About the job

Objectives of the Role

Perform monthly closing tasks (Hands-on experience with monthly closing processes, including: Posting manual journal entries, Managing accruals and advance payments (e.g., insurance), Handling long-term provisions). Ensure accurate account reconciliations, and work with finance and business teams to maintain compliance and precision in accounting processes within the SG&A scope for NORAM and NorthLatam regions

About you

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

 Professional Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with monthly closing processes, including:
    • Posting manual journal entries.
    • Managing accruals and advance payments (e.g., insurance).
    • Handling long-term provisions.
  • Experience preparing reconciliations for SG&A-related general ledger accounts.
  • Exposure to audit processes and issue resolution.

 Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables).
  • Preferably experienced with SAP FI module.

 Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English (required).
  • Working proficiency in Spanish and English for system operations and communication across Latin American and NORAM markets.

 Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, payroll, tax, head office).
  • Ability to work under pressure during closing periods.
