Danone operates several research centers globally, including one in Paris-Saclay, France, which employs around 2,100 people, with 500 based in France. This center features offices, laboratories, pilot lines (small production lines), and support functions for R&I. It is situated alongside many prestigious scientific ecosystems such as INRAE, Ecole Normale Superieure, and Universite Paris-Saclay. Through strategic pillars like winning product culture, sustainable by design, and talent powerhouse, it aims to become a flagship of health through food.
This CDI will take place in Gif-sur-Yvette (91), in our global Research & Innovation center.
This role will enable you to develop your skills as Legal Council and to integrate an international environment, focussing on the Research & Innovation side of the business.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Provide expert and legal advice and support to the R&I teams on projects, always ensuring aligned wow with R&I Legal.
- Draft, negotiate and validate service, collaboration, research, development and partnership agreements.
- Contribute to execute the industrial property strategy of the company for all R&I activities while protecting Danone’s IP and confidentiality.

About you
ABOUT YOU
The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.
- You hold a Master's degree in Law and have already gained initial experience in an international environment.
- You have a strong networking mindset and have what it takes to become a solid business partner for the R&I teams
- Actively interact and involve other functions where needed to achieve results (C&P, Finance, HR…)
- Work together with the C&P team in all matters linked to purchase of goods and services of R&I
- Interact with global teams such as Corporate Compliance, Data Privacy… and ensure alignment in the wow
- Interact proactively with global legal R&I team, IP and Patents teams.
- English (and French) will be essential to communicate with the rest of the team !
