About the job

We are looking to hire an in-house content creator to join our internal creative team.

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to ideate, develop and execute content for social that align with the brand's aesthetic, messaging, and marketing objectives.
  • Ability to capture social content & comfortability appearing on-camera for content. Types of content to be created include but are not limited to: social trends, memes, content series, and on-site IRL event content capture.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished assets using non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere) as well as native in-app tools (i.e. CapCut).
  • Support influencer and social creative productions, including briefing and content reviews.
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography, photography, cinematography, and post-production techniques.
  • Track and adhere to creative usage rights (music licensing, stock imagery, etc.).
  • Be a student of culture to stay informed on culture, technology, and social landscape. Proactively identify trends with a bias for action to activate against ideas quickly.
  • Pitch breakthrough social media ideas routed in timely cultural insights - both planned and reactive to immerse brands in culture.
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal cross-functional internal partners — Legal, Creative, Media, PR to effectively execute social media content creation.

This position is hybrid and can be based in either White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO.

About you

FUNCTIONAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must have strong attention to detail and a creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Must be willing to confidently appear on camera for content, including live streams, pre-recorded segments, and promotional videos.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Must have strong project management skills to manage multiple workstreams across various brands.
  • Must have a finger on the pulse of culture and trends that can be shared with the larger team to identify social marketing opportunities.
  • Prefer a candidate with experience creating branded, consumer-facing messaging to deploy brand tone-of-voice.
  • Prefer a candidate with experience post-production editing, including but not limited to motion graphics, animations, visual effects, sound effects, transitions and content creation features. 
  • Ability to learn how to interpret and apply performance/conversion-based feedback on footage.
  • Prefer a candidate with knowledge of social creative and paid social best practices as well as consumer media consumption.

​INDICITIVE EXPERIENCE​

  • Years of Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in social media content creation, video production and post-production
  • Social media marketing and/or agency experience 
  • Experience developing social media content & being the face in front of the camera. Must have a creative portfolio or social profile of engaging assets.
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent with strong Social Media knowledge and experience

The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.
