   ABOUT THE JOB

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Demand Planner to join us in a full-time permanent role at our office in Sydney. This is a unique role that allows you to maintain the Business Demand Forecast using appropriate process and systems and to support the Demand Planning Manager with regards to forecasting activities associated with customers and product and to ensure that Danone is meeting its commitment to ensure supply for its consumers.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • To develop the demand plan for the business across an 18–24-month horizon, working with Sales, Marketing & Finance personnel as required.
  • Ensure that the Demand forecast is up to date and current within the systems as required for Supply Planning, Supply Point and Finance as per the planning cycles.
  • Responsible for meeting Supply Chain KPI’s for Demand Planning such as Forecast Accuracy, Bias and Customer Service Level.
  • Ensure APO and SAP and other relevant tools are kept up to date and accurately reflect the current agreed demand plan across all horizons, to ensure data integration and integrity across all areas of Supply Chain and Operations.
  • Follow and drive improvements in the GPS process through contributions and involvement in the key meetings and by assisting the Demand Planning Manager to ensure the GPS process is running properly, with right contribution to the Demand Review.
  • Assist the Supply Planning Team with inputs and contribute as required to help resolve any Supply related issues.
  • Provide information as required to enable the review of historical sales trends, forecast results and proposed forecasts.
  • Participate in New Product Development projects as required

You will have great attention to detail and follow through whilst also being an independent decision maker. Your optimistic, ‘can do’ style will help you succeed in this role. You will demonstrate a passion for the Nutricia brand and pride yourself on the self-development of your brand both internally and externally from the business.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Supply Chain or Finance related degree.
  • Minimum 3 years Supply Chain Experience and 12 months Planning Experience.
  • Experience of using complex IT systems in supply chain.
  • Exposure to Supply or demand planning is desirable.
  • Be a very strong communicator with a great ability for stakeholder management.
  • Strong presentation skills.
