ABOUT THE JOB

 

Danone is seeking an experienced and service driven Employee Service Manager to deliver high quality employee services across Australia. Reporting to the Employee Service Geography Lead, this role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent, compliant and efficient HR operations aligned to our Employee Services strategy and operating model.

 

You will act as the local ES key account for the HR community, lead local adoption of global and APAC HR projects, and drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on role with strong stakeholder engagement across HR, IT, payroll vendors and shared service teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Employee Service Management

  • Deploy APAC Employee Services strategy, policies and processes in compliance with Australian legal requirements
  • Define and roll out local HRES processes, guidelines and roadmaps aligned to business needs
  • Act as the key point of accountability for all Employee Services activities across Australia

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and service quality
  • Standardise and document SOPs and work instructions and lead training and knowledge transfer
  • Oversee end to end employee lifecycle operations including contracts, documentation and system updates
  • Ensure accurate employee master data management across HR systems including sHaRe and iChris
  • Consolidate and validate data for payroll processing as the single source of truth
  • Manage long leave requests, time and attendance supporting documents and ES purchase orders
  • Coordinate local IT support and vendor management for ES services

Employee Request Management

  • Manage and maintain the local HR knowledge base
  • Analyse case management and dashboard insights to improve employee experience
  • Respond to employee queries as Tier 1 and ensure quality escalation to Tier 2 where required

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure HR operations comply with local regulations and Danone group policies
  • Support audits and compliance reviews including DANgo and DBS controls

Project and Change Management

  • Lead local adoption of global and APAC HR projects such as HR2HR and H2O
  • Support blueprint design, testing and hypercare phases
  • Drive effective local change management and ways of working updates

About you

About You

 

You are a detail focused HR operations professional with a strong service mindset and deep understanding of HR shared services. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy improving processes and are confident working with multiple stakeholders across regions.

 

You bring a balanced approach combining operational rigour, compliance awareness and a people centric mindset, aligned with Danone’s values.

 

Ideally You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • Experience in HR administration, payroll or shared services environments
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and compliance
  • Solid experience working with HRIS systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors or ServiceNow
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement
  • High integrity with the ability to manage confidential information
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
