About the job

An exciting opportunity opportunity has arisen for the position of Factory Activity Management Coordinator. The role is responsible for driving and managing Central Business Unit requests and internal projects relating to SKU management, ensuring the wider business needs are fully understood and managed. You will be required to work on a number of projects at any one time, therefore it is critical you have a proven track record in project balancing workload and resources for multiple projects.

Critical to the role is a strong eye for detail. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships, a self starter and be able to prioritise your own workload. About you

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Establish operational feasibility of projects and internal SNX projects for innovation & OP projects through close teamwork with ops functions.
  • Drive and manage requests for changes made by SU’s which are production process related.
  • Manage project trials.
  • Creation and management of TOP’s for project.
  • Creation and management of Change Controls for projects.
  • Responsible for successful local operational implementation of innovations/renovations and saving projects within supply point or third-party producer (local project lead).
  • Phase in and Phase out (PIPO) of SKU management within multiple projects.
  • Involve local key stakeholders.
  • Balance between operations and market needs.
  • Communication to stakeholders on project progress.
  • Risk assessment and scenario planning.
  • Minimise write off costs via write off discontinuation process.
  • Effective decision making sometimes beyond own scope of responsibilities.
  • Responsible for successful project management.
  • Direct and indirect KPI’s◦Project launch timelines.
  • Right First Time.
  • Write offs of Raws & Packs.
  • Cost of Non-Quality.

 

  • Actively supports Production / Quality / Performance departments with Continuous Improvement efforts, by initiating and/or contributing to local projects to improve SQCDME performances, in collaboration with other functions (local or global).

 

Ideal candidate will have these skills: 

 

·         Project leader or coordinator experience

·         Experience in either production operations, QA, logistics, development, process technologist, planning

·         Knowledge of factory raw/pack/product and equipment

·         Understanding of raw/pack/process/recipe/FG specifications management

·         Expertise in one of the key technologies in the factory (Dry blending / packaging and materials)

·         Strong skills in the use of Microsoft office.

·         Experience in the use of SAP (desirable).

·         Strong Communication skills, able to communicate with people at all levels, and build effective working relationships.

·         Self-managing, able to prioritise workload.

·         Strong eye for detail.

·         Proactive approach to work.

·         Experience working in a fast past multiple objective international company.

 

Some international travel required for category meetings & project meetings.
