About the job

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our international team in either the Czech Republic or Slovakia. In this role, you will provide essential financial support, helping drive profitable business growth in Slovakia. You will be part of a dynamic and professional team, working in a complex environment while managing diverse business cases. As a trusted partner to the local Commercial team, you will act as a key local contact, providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

 

Job description:

  • Ensure reliable monthly financial reporting, adhering to deadlines and Group procedures.
  • Ensure data consistency and reliability, reconciling between the ERP and financial analysis software.
  • Participate in planning the 24-month rolling forecast and be accountable for the financial topline part.
  • Continuously monitor cost analysis activities, budgeting for all functional areas, financial calculations, and provide support for the country unit team.
  • Present results in key company meetings.
  • Represent the finance team and its objectives in country projects.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, the CEE Finance team, and participate regularly in meetings.
  • Provide continuous financial business support to key stakeholders.
  • Offer ad-hoc finance support to respective departments on related projects.

About you

  • University education in economics
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in controlling obtained within a large complex organization
  • An analyst with strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, with good time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient with SAP, Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Power BI as advantage
  • Fluent in Czech and/or Slovak and proficient in English, capable of effective communication at an international level.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all staff and executive levels within the organization.
