About the job

As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you are a key member of the finance team team (8 fte) and directly responsible for leading the rolling forecast and monthly close activities within Supply Point Zoetermeer.

 

You will provide analysis in decision-making in all matters operational, financial, and strategic.

You will also be a business partner to one or more Plant Leadership Team (PLT) members and their department managers, lead the forecast and budget process and play an important role in the delivery of our annual and strategic Finance Roadmap.

About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Lead the Rolling forecast, Annual operating plan and Month end closing process
  • Risks & Ops management: Test business hypothesis, incl actions/mitigation plans & scenario planning
  • Business Partnering activities for Production Departments
  • Be the first point of contact with the Regional Finance team at DPA
  • Owner of all internal reporting deliverables (FTE, Repair and Maintenance, Management Dashboard etc)
  • Lead and coach the FP&A team (2 analyst)
  • Business process owner for key internal controls
  • Lead the BI implementation to improve analytics
  • Set up continuous improvement mindset within FP&A activities
  • Ensure a fluid collaboration with IBS on any related topic
  • Be the first point of contact for Internal Audits
  • You will have 2 direct reports

About you

You will be acting as a business partner and work closely with the Head of Finance, Production Managers and finance stakeholders outside the factory (Regional team in DPA and DBS Financial Reporting team). To be successful in this role, you meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in Finance/Controlling is required preferably in manufacturing, industrial or Supply Chain environment and/or in a complex matrix organization

  • Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field
  • Solid understanding and experience in Controlling
  • Must be numerate, analytical and have good oral & written communication skills
  • Affinity with BI tools
  • Strong Excel knowledge & SAP experience
  • Strong analytical skills, rigorous and accurate
  • Mindset for digitalization – to play a key role in introducing new tools and system to optimize controlling activities
  • Strong stakeholder management, ability to work with and influence stakeholder groups with conflicting agendas
  • A positive “can do” attitude.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and managing complexity in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to switch between 'big picture' and hands-on approach
  • Highly dedicated with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Responsible and responsive attitude
  • Dutch (both spoken and written) is preferred
