The Global Logistics Excellence team is looking for a Global LogCell Performance Manager. The position can be based in Danone Place Paris or Danone Place Amsterdam. We are looking for someone to start in Q1-2025. 

The Global LogCell Performance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding logistics transformation towards achieving a 9% logistics cost/net sales ambition. This involves establishing LogCell governance to bring contract lifetime management capability to CBUs through standardized commercial terms, legal agreements, and operational specifications. The role will also focus on performance-based contracts coupled with 3PL performance animation and RFQ strategy regulating IFRS16 and other liability risks. 

Missions: Your main responsibilities will be as follows: 

• Prepare and run LogCell and contract management animation meetings with zones. This includes coordinating with various regional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. 

• Provide zones and CBUs with tools, playbooks and KPIs to drive and monitor 3PL performance and Continuous Improvement Process. This involves roll out standardized metrics and tools to track and enhance the efficiency of third-party logistics providers. 

• Support  in 3PL performance animation. This includes offering guidance, coachiong and support to cbus a to ensure that key logiostics suppliers meet performance standards and contribute to Danone Logistics Cost/ Net Sales ambition efficiency. 

• Animate the LogCell community by fostering a collaborative environment where best practices and innovations are shared across the organization. 

• Coordinate with various regional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. 

Must have: 

• Deep understanding of warehouse ecosystem and lean management processes. The candidate should have extensive experience in optimizing warehouse operations and implementing lean methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills (both internal and external). The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. 

• Experience in 3PL performance (service and efficiencies) animation via KPIs. The candidate should have a proven track record of using key performance indicators to drive improvements in third-party logistics performance. 

• Experience in transportation ecosystem, transport metrics and transport procurement process. 

• Strategic mindset and experience in animating regional and local teams. The ideal candidate should be able to think strategically and have experience leading and motivating teams at both regional and local levels. 

• Proficiency in English for effective communication with the team. 

• The candidate should be adaptable to working with colleagues from various time zones, reflecting the global nature of the position 

Technical Competencies: 

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. 

• Experience with lean management tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S. 

• Knowledge of contract management and negotiation, particularly in the context of logistics and supply chain agreements. 

• Familiarity with performance-based logistics contracts and key performance indicators (KPIs) for 3PL providers. 

Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to logistics and supply chain management. 

 Nice to have: 

• Experience in supply chain management. 

• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SAP, PowerBI.
