Head of Corporate Affairs for Vietnam to help accelerate sustainable business growth and position Danone as a trusted, responsible, and influential market leader, 
specifically, to: 
• Ensure strategic representation to government and regulators, particularly to anticipate, influence, and navigate VN’s evolving policy landscapes on food safety, product and advertising regulations, labelling, digital economy, and health. 
• Drive integrated external stakeholder strategy to protect and grow DVN’s reputation, enhance 
brand equity, and strengthen corporate position on health, science, and sustainability.  

This position will cover Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability with the following key responsibilities:  

1. Public Affairs
• Lead comprehensive government engagement strategy at all levels, ensuring alignment with Danone’s “One Voice” advocacy campaigns while translating policy insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ministries, regulators, trade associations, and other policy‑shaping bodies; represent Danone Vietnam in all industry associations and technical working groups.  
• Lead structured policy horizon scanning; influence emerging policies impacting product categories, sustainability, trade, and health. 

2. Regulatory Affairs  
• Drive Danone Vietnam's end-to-end regulatory governance and strategy for product registration, labeling, formulation, and claims. 
• Anticipate regulatory risks and intelligence; shape category standards through proactive advocacy. 
• Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, R&I, Quality, Supply Chain, etc. to drive launch readiness across innovations and renovations.  

3. Corporate Communications 
•  Develop and execute VN-tailored cohesive communications strategy with all key external stakeholders including authorities, trade associations, NGOs, and media.  
•  Shape Danone Vietnam's corporate narrative, strengthen brand reputation, drive media engagement, spokesperson preparation, and corporate storytelling with SEA Head of Communications.  
•  Manage crisis communications and issues response with SEA Head of Communications. 

4. Sustainability  
• Lead Danone Vietnam’s sustainability roadmap in line with Danone’s global commitments with SEA Head of Sustainability. 
• Ensure compliance with Vietnam’s environmental regulations (EPR, ESG disclosure, etc.) with VN Legal.

5. Crisis & Issues Management
• Lead cross‑functional working teams in incident response. 
• Ensure alignment with global and regional escalation protocols.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Public Relations, Communications, Law, or Business.  
• 10-15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, or Corporate Communications, preferably in multinational companies and FMCG or pharmaceuticals. 
• Strong network and established relationships with Vietnamese government bodies, industry associations, and media.
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in stakeholder mapping, policy advocacy, horizon scanning, and external influencing approaches. 
• Track record in leading high-impact projects and delivering both long-term strategy and day-to-day execution. 
• Fluent in both reading and writing English and Vietnamese.
