Are you ready to lead risk evaluation and control in the dynamic Oceania region? We're looking for an Internal Control Manager based in Auckland to drive our standardization, automation, and simplification initiatives while collaborating with business departments to resolve internal control issues.

Reporting to the Danone Business Services (DBS) Oceania Officer in Charge, you will plan and execute risk evaluation campaigns, engage in cross-functional projects, and promote best practices through training.

You will:

• Plan and execute the Danone governance (DANgo) risk evaluation campaign, including testing, data analysis, documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Closely partner with business functions to identify and resolve internal control issues.
• Engage in cross-functional projects to align internal control with business goals.
• Ensure Business Process Owners' (BPOs') alignment on risk improvements and follow up on action plans.
• Lead Internal Control improvement projects per CNAO region standards.
• Drive systematic and automated controls, perform data analysis, and quantify findings.
• Promote understanding of control risks through training and best practices.

You are an experienced professional who enjoys translating internal control principles into practical business operations, providing actionable suggestions, and building long-term trust with business teams. You thrive in collaborative settings, bringing a proactive and efficient communication style to the table. Your ability to take ownership, collaborate effectively with key stakeholders in the CNAO region, and demonstrate speed and agility will ensure your success in this role.

To be successful you will also have:

• Substantial experience in Internal Controls and Audits in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
• FMCG/Dairy Industry experience is preferred not a must
• Tertiary qualification in Finance/Commerce/CA/CPA or Accounting is preferred
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, PowerBI) and familiarity with SAP is desired
• You could be working towards your CA or CPA with prior work experience in accounting
• Experience in cross-functional project management, change management, and working with shared service will be advantageous.
• Strong business partnering and collaborative working skills
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organization skills with an ability to work with shifting priorities
