Then join us as our new Categories Financial Performance Analyst Intern within our Global Procurement team at our office in Hoofddorp, NL starting January/February 2025!

As our new Categories Financial Performance Analyst Intern, you will be part of our Global Finance Procurement Analysis Team in our office in Hoofddorp. You will support the team in their processes of improving the forecast accuracy for a scope of more than 7 Billion Euros.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Identify, track and understand the potential sources of forecast inaccuracy in the global forecasting process for more than 20.000 materials.
• Actively participate in artificial intelligence initiatives meant for better understanding of price forecasting and simulation.
• Coordinate accuracy improvement processes with the global as well as local teams
• Prepare (build) dashboards for the use of global purchasing directors and VPs that deep dive into price evolution and the reasons behind.
• Identify, map and suggest improvement points on the forecasting process and implement risk mitigation actions.

You are the perfect fit if:

• You have an analytical and pro-active mindset.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy talking with different people working from abroad, which also means you have some time flexibility to align with them given time differences.
• You enjoy working with data, process improvement and data storytelling.
• Experience and passion for data science, data analytics and Power BI development is a plus.

There are also some compulsory requirements: 

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student studying in Finance/Economics/Econometrics/Business Analytics/ Business Administration or related fields during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Ideally available to start in January/February 2025 for 6 months, 4/5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - oral and written;
• You are able to work from Hoofddorp office 2-3 times per week. 
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
