As our new Sensory & Consumer Research intern, you will be joining Danone's global User eXperience team based in our Research and Innovation centre in Utrecht. This team focusses on the Specialized Nutrition (SN) product category and is passionate about providing the best possible product experience to patients and Healthcare Professionals.

You will be part of the SN Specialised Paediatrics team, where you will be involved in research to deliver insights on children in need of medical nutrition and the product experience of this category. You will join an international team of passionate people who are eager to guide you through this internship to deliver great results together. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Development teams, Marketing teams and with external research partners.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Analysing and consolidating insights from various studies and academic sources to capitalise on existing knowledge.
• Supporting sensory and consumer research to obtain new insights
• Translating insights into business recommendations and communicating these to different stakeholders.
• Inspiring solutions to support children with specific nutritional needs and their parents.
• Bringing a user centric mindset into the projects and teams.

During your internship with us you will be closely supervised by Marleen Kleijn, Senior UX Design Manager Specialised Paediatrics.

• You are a Master student currently pursuing a degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Cognitive Psychology or a related field
• You have excellent research and communication skills
• You are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
• You enjoy working autonomously as well as in a team
• You are pro-active in bringing your ideas forward and well-organized

As a Sensory & Consumer Research intern, communicating with external and internal parties will be second nature to you. You can easily combine different pieces of research together and have great presentation skills. On top of that? You are a research orientated individual who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period;

• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);

• Ideally available to start in March/April 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;

• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Utrecht office, at least 3 days per week.
