The Strategy & Insights (S&I) team provides the foundational understanding of what consumers and shoppers do and why they do it, which helps drive category, brand, and business growth through marketing, sales, and innovation excellence.

The role of the Marketing Strategy and Insights Analyst ROBG is detecting market trends & anticipating the future, for Danone’s business growth is key. All with living and breathing our S&I values: be inspiring, curious, independent & business-oriented.

 

Objectives of the role:

 

  • Design and oversee continuous reporting, ensuring its added value for the business
  • Manage market information - both on the local market level, and input to CEE reporting
  • Provide the market information required by the business, ensuring it is accurate, timely, insightful, and actionable
  • Support setting KPIs for key business cases/ product launches. Support post-launch reviews
  • Support market understanding & trends spotting:
  • Responsible for monthly full reporting inside the company for all the continuous data available (retail data, household panel)
  • Support local reviews on the market, category, brands, and competitor's performance (integrating multisource data)
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and be a source of effective challenge in the business:
  • Ensure market insight is used sensibly in business decision-making
  • Act as the reference point for advice on market information within the category, continually building own levels of knowledge and raising the level generally within business
  • Ensure proactivity, identify business opportunities, and communicate them persuasively
  • Responsible for the relationship with continuous research suppliers in your market (mainly retail & household panel data)

 

About you

Preffered profile

 

  • Be a proven market & business analyst (min. 2 years of experience, research agency/ consultancy experience preferred; client-side experience would be an advantage).
  • Knowledge of panel data & analyses would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Nielsen Answers software would be a plus
  • ave a master’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of expertise (statistics/math, information systems, sociology, economy, or similar)
  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken) is an advantage
