Middle Office leads external and internal compliance and IFRS9 standard in Danone, provides centralized Mark-to-Market visibility for direct and indirect spend (Milk, Plant based, Ingredients, Packaging, Energy and Logistics) for all zones.

We are seeking a Middle Office Manager with experience in commodity hedging who is looking for their next challenge. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, diligent and detail-oriented, self-starting with exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Animate and manage the data collection process for actual and forecasted volumes by CBU, supplier, and business category across all Zones.
  • Apply the Mark‑to‑Market methodology and execute MTM calculations for all Zones and categories.
  • Control and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits, including effectiveness testing for financial hedging scope.
  • Monitor and validate trade orders to ensure hedge transactions comply with the Executive Mandate.
  • Support the execution of the MTM expansion project to enhance governance and visibility for non‑hedgeable spend.
  • Drive the digital transformation of exposure management and MTM reporting through process optimization and automation in Power BI with Copilot agent usage.
  • Provide ongoing training on compliance and MTM topics for Procurement stakeholders

About you

To be successful in this role, you fulfil the following:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with process automation or digital tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of rigor in controls and documentation.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Prior experience in middle office, risk management, or financial operations is an advantage.
  • Be open-minded, reliable, proactive and team-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
