About the job

APAC stands for Asia-Pacific and includes countries – India, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan. The procurement team now operates in 10+ countries, encompassing three core businesses: Water, Specialized Nutrition, and Dairy. Each sub-region possesses unique operating models, processes, and system maturity.

 

APAC serves as the growth engine for Danone, presenting numerous opportunities for expansion. The procurement function plays a critical role in championing cost efficiency, cash management, and service quality, while ensuring sustainability throughout all interactions with our suppliers.

During the 6-month internship, you will manage and lead Digitization Projects for APAC Procurement function focusing on 3PM and CAPEX scope.

 

1.     Procurement CoMan Scorecard     

  • KPI data collection & consolidation
  • Collect monthly / periodic KPI inputs from multiple sources (CFR, PSL, Safety, audit status etc.)
  • Consolidate data into the Power BI CoMan Dashboard/Excel/Ppt formats following defined templates and cut‑off dates.
  • Maintain Power BI 3PM Dashboard

 

2.     Key projects in 3PM space   

  • Mapping of each and every raw and pack materials for all 3PMs in APAC to create an organizational memory and map buying methodologies. Benchmark buying methodologies with industries’ best practices and identify savings opportunities
  • Competitive Value Chain benchmarking of 2-3 categories in APAC along with a third party to identify areas of improvements/savings

 

3.     PMO support

  • Prepare monthly extracts or slides from the dashboard for
  • CoMan Performance Reviews
  • Quality or D‑score reviews
  • APAC / Global CoMan forums
  • Finance forums

 

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need…

The following technical skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business, or related field
  • Experience as a data analyst
  • Must be proficient in PowerBI
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The ideal candidate should understand Danone's business priorities, assess them in global/regional sourcing contexts, and consider the competitive landscape. They should produce results within a diverse, matrixed organization, quickly assimilate new information, and manage risks effectively.
