About the job

We are looking for a talent to lead our prodcution team, the succesfull candidate will provide leadership for the production team overseeing achievement of production volumes, product quality & compliance, scheduling, waste & cost control, workplace safety/security/health.

About you

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Organize to ensure that PRODUCTION PLANNING is maintained into the sales requirements in alliance with the PD / LOGISTIC / SALES and MARKETING.
  • Effective utilization of the production equipment by adequate monitoring.
  • Effective use of system information for monitoring stock / cost and yield on production lines
  • Proven accountability through institution of regular stock count of raw, packaging and finished goods.
  • Good Stock Handling (GSH) principle should be ensured for raw and packaging to improve and reduce losses.
  • Daily Production volume performance to be monitored and daily reported to all stakeholders, to ensure the products availability.
  • Ensure good GMP.
  • Continuous improvement in operations performance efficiency e.g. man hour parameter through effective staff control.
  • Ensure that HEALTH and SAFETY regulation and procedures are followed by the staff.
  • Ensure that Staff are trained and are using the PPE equipment for the various operations where required.
  • Ensure man and material are efficiently managed.
  • Monitor and account for raw and packaging material usage.
  • Ensures that purchases follow the company policy and procurement process.
  • Investment expenses are within the investment budget allowances.

The ideal candidate should have:

 

Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Food Science/Microbiology or a related field preferred. Master's or post graduate levels a plus.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience
• Experience with HAACP, GMP’s, and good working knowledge of pest control standards and requirements
• Experience with food processing regulations and organic certification required.
• Manufacturing experience in a Food, Beverages, Chemical or related industry required.
• 4+ years’ experience in a significant leadership role in a plant required
• Experience in multiple pillars of TPM (Leadership, Organization Capability, Focused Improvement, Progressive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, Early Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Safety) required.
• Change Management skills required.
• Business, Analytical and Financial Acumen Required.
• Experience in a beverage bottling manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills required.
