About the job

We have an exiting role in Supply Chain team - Production Planner.

 

As a Production Planner you will be in charge of construction of medium-term production plan covering CW+5 to CW+16 within agreed parameters, including capacity, safety stocks, RFS cycles and RM availability. Maintain APO master data. You will be indentifying slow moving and expiring stock for possible distribution/scrapping. Liaise with project managers for new product introductions and management of FG PIPO.

Maintain optimum balance between manufacturing efficiency and inventory levels in order to deliver availability targets, including ensuring that there is a enough buffer to take normal production variability and stock level targets into account, across both MTO & MTF categories.

Working with key stakeholders to minimise impact of production and supply issues.

About you

To be successfull in the role you will be: 

 

Candidate profile (leadership & functional competencies)

Degree educated

Chem/pharma, food manufacturing, FMCG manufacturing

Production scheduling, demand planner, supply planner, master production scheduler

Sap R/3 and APO, product knowledge, project management, medium term planning

Ability to manage and motivate a team.

Good communicator; comfortable working with many different people from different cultures; and at different levels in the organization.

Good problem-solving skills – getting the right balance between analysis and action.

Highly motivated individual, prepared to make step changes on current SC performance indicators.

Strong leader, prepared to drive cultural and organizational change.

Worked in companies within lean manufacturing culture.

Strong excel skills

 

Critical experience required

Experience of Supply Chain/Logistics and production planning; and, ideally, experience of the production process.

Experience on SAP implementation (or working in that environment) is an advantage.

Experience with Power BI
