Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our (Nutricia Liverpool) facility. In this role, you will be part of the plant engineering team and be responsible for supporting & delivering strategic, operational, and policy-related aspects of the plant, with a focus on safety, quality, performance, management, and organizational objectives. You will be responsible for multiple capital projects within the plant, overseeing the full project life cycle,  need, preliminary definition, detailed definition, technical execution, timeline management, and financial oversight for each project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project execution of projects up to €5M or part of complex scope project (Processing, Packaging, Building and Utility)
• Work with Engineering Manager to align on project priorities and budget for each project
• Lead & develop a team including and project engineer & packaging engineer
• Work with CAPEX controller to manage the capital forecast and execution
• Coordinate and lead cross functional teams as part of project life cycle
• Create, design and evaluate initial call for tender documents with the relevant key stakeholders and procurment
• Work with Regional Engineering teams during bidding processes and technical alignment
• Work with the CAPEX procurement team to align on priorities and contract negotiations
• Travel is required occasionally for training or plant projects.

Job Qualifications:

Experience and working knowledge in:

• Integrated automation and controls technology
• High speed packaging systems design
• Plant based process engineering and PMO
• Manufacturing plant utility systems
• Civil works

Must be organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the management of concurrent projects

Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend or late shifts, during installation/startup periods

Experience and Education Requirement:

• Engineering Degree and recognized project management training for example Prince II
• 3 years of relevant Engineering experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing
