About the job

The Food Safety & Quality System team, within the site's management, is recruiting a Technician on a permanent contract. The position is based in Gif-sur-Yvette (91) within the Danone Global Research & Innovation Center Daniel Carasso, which is at the heart of Danone's Research & Innovation. It is made up of laboratories and pilot plants at the cutting edge of science and technology with collaborators working collectively to innovate on the dairy and plant-based products, waters and drinks of tomorrow. The DGRIC pilot has a sanitary approval and the site is certified FSSC22000 for all productions aimed for external consumption. 

 The Food Safety & Quality System team’s mission is to maintain and elevate the level of excellence on Food Safety of the site and spread of the Food Safety Culture in the Center. 

 

The Food Safety & Quality System Technician, reporting to the Food Safety & Quality System Manager, will be responsible for contributing to the mission of the team by  maintaining the sanitary approval of the pilot (Fresh Dairy Products) and the FSSC 22000 certification of DGRIC for all types of external consumptions. She/he will also be responsible of the optimization of the site's Food Safety Management System, and its adaptation to new scope or ways of working. In this context, she/he will have to coordinate audit organization with all the teams involved and follow action plans. 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

System management & documents management 

  • Maintenance, harmonization and evolution of the Quality document system within the DGRIC, including its evolution towards new tools (sharepoint, etc.) 
  • Elaboration, revision of Food Safety / Quality documents at the site level and participation in their implementation in the DGRIC directions, in coherence with the Quality and Food Safety Management System of the Corporate 
  • Monitoring of corrective actions and quality indicators, in particular in the Food Safety / Quality Steering Committee (CPFS) 

 

Site veterinary approval and  FSSC22000 certification 

  • Maintenance and evolution (documents update, support to the teams concerned, etc...) following regulatory or normative changes or changes  in the scope of the DGRIC (e.g. new services or activities  to be included or new types of external consumption or tests, etc.) 
  • Continuous improvement management: 
  • Manage audit schedule for the coming year 
  • Organization and carrying out of internal audits ( FSHCP, traceability, etc.) and Food Safety / Quality inspections (e.g. stocks) or participation in those of the departments within the scope of actionPreparation of the report and proposal of action plans 
  • Organizing and conducting trend analysis 
  • Preparation and participation in internal audits carried out by consultants or Authorities  
  • Proposal of action plans related to these audits for the FS&QS department (at least for internal audits), in support of the FS&QS manager for FSSC22000 certification and DDPP (Direction Départementale de Protection des Populations) inspection 
  • Support to the Center's teams in the implementation of their action plans, for the resolution of non-conformities and the follow-up of these action plans (CAPA file). Animation and improvement of the CAPA file. 
  • Management of emergency situations: support to the teams and the FS&QS manager for the follow-up of Non-conformities (FNC) or withdrawals / recalls. 
  • Promote the sharing and harmonization of practices/documents used between the different actors of the Center.  
  • Push for the clarification of processes, especially at the interfaces between departments 

 

  • Training : 
  • Organization and follow-up of Food Safety/Quality training 
  • Design and implementation of certain training courses (e.g. Good Hygiene Practices).  

 

  • Management of quality releases for reception Quarantines. 
  • Animation and/or participation in transversal meetings in Food Safety / Quality (CPFS, management review, FS Call Corporate, work meetings, etc.) and production of related reports or information relay meetings  (FS call...) 

 

About you

R&I development or Pilot or industrial production experience 

EDP and /or Drinks process knowledge

Food Safety risk management

Auditor / inspection management

System management 

Ideally, knowledge of FSSC22000 

Rigorous, fact-based oriented,  

Communication / able to interact with various functions , transversal animation, openness 

Able to coach / train people will be a + 

English & French are mandatory
