Join our talented team as a Quality Manager to lead implementation and maintenance of the Country Business Unit (CBU) Quality and Food Safety Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Danone standards. You'll play a crucial role in delivering sustainable products and services at minimal cost, all while keeping our consumers and customers at the heart of everything we do.

 

Reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Director ANZ, you will lead the charge in ensuring compliance with Quality and Food Safety Management Systems at CBU, safeguarding our operations against potential QFS incidents or crises, and securing a resilient future. In this role, you will concentrate on downstream quality, ensuring that our products maintain the highest standards as they reach our customers.

 

You will:

  • Ensure compliance with Quality & Food Safety Management Systems to meet all standards.
  • Implement and manage feedback systems to enhance consumer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support co-manufacturers in adhering to Danone's QFS standards.
  • Foster a quality-centric culture within the CBU, NZ operations, and co-manufacturers, including quarterly Quality townhalls.
  • Address high-risk QFS gaps and ensure effective CAPA for Specialised Nutrition complaints.
  • Actively participate in monthly network calls to share best practices and learnings, and provide a quarterly dashboard to the ANZ Senior Leadership team.
  • Champion quality initiatives and measure improvements through surveys and projects like i-Care.

About you

We are looking for someone like you to leverage your excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively and solve problems with logical precision. With a strong technical background in manufacturing processes, HACCP, risk assessment, and auditing, you'll play a key role in delivering superior consumer experiences and safeguarding our operations. If you thrive on taking ownership and responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility, and pragmatism, we want you on our team.

 

To be successful, you will also have:

 

  • A tertiary qualification in food chemistry/science/food technology/biology, engineering, or similar field
  • Proven QA experience in Infant Formula/Dairy/Food or other FMCG manufacturing
  • Good Understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000 standards, GHP & GMP requirements is desired
  • Proven risk analysis and problem-solving experience 
  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to work with shifting priorities 
  • Advanced computer skills, SAP experience would be an advantage
