About the job

 

We are looking for a Sales Operations and Planning Analyst that will play a key role in the Danone Canada Sales organization by supporting the Sales and Operations team in implementing initiatives to manage and pilot the business to increase distribution, sales and maximize profits in our Food and Beverage categories. This person will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager S&OP intop the development of new processes, tools and reporting of key financial and planning information both internally and externally.
 
About the Job: The Sales Operation and Planning Analyst’s responsibilities include:
• Provide analytical support on key Business Planning processes such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Planning and Trade Spend management by leveraging internal trade management tool and customer data tools
• Maintain sales business piloting including the development of simplified and standardized reporting dashboards using advanced Excel and Power BI
• Support Customer Business teams (CBT) on data driven decision making with in-depth analysis support throughout the GPS process (MBR)
• Collaborate with Finance, Demand Planning and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment, execution and achievement of key business targets, including monitoring and gap closure
• Ensure documentation and onboarding of new Business Development Managers on reporting, information systems & sales planning processes

About you

 

The ideal candidate will have:
 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field required
• Minimum 2-3 years of analyst experience preferably in a multinational FMCG context
• Must possess expert Excel and advanced Power BI skills with the proven ability to produce high end data products suitable for analysis.
• Thinks systematically and has expert analytical skills. Comfortable dealing with large datasets and performing structured data analysis to deliver actionable insights
• Ability to formulate a view, get buy-in and drive the implementation and accountability in the daily ways of working 
• Manages multiple high complexity, concurrent projects while prioritizing efficiently
• Ability to work autonomously, perform well under pressure with effective change management skills
• Challenges the status quo, takes initiative and generates breakthrough ideas 
• Fast learner, positive energy, team player, committed and resilient. Shows interest to learn and share from others and drive continuous improvement
